"I'm Wael M. Hassan, a Botany professor at Suez Canal University in Egypt and Shaqra University in Saudi Arabia. With a primary research focus on Plant Science, my work examines the impact of combined abiotic and biotic stresses on plant growth and crop productivity, with an emphasis on salinity, drought, and Plant Pathology. My recent efforts have been devoted to improving wheat crop productivity and water use efficiency. Alongside this, I've also conducted research on identifying cultivars of Date palm (Phoenix dactylifera) and creating a comprehensive Flora of the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt."
