Guisheng Zhou is currently the dean of the School of Overseas Education of Yangzhou University. From 2002 to 2006, he obtained a doctorate from the Agricultural College of Yangzhou University. He is mainly engaged in research on the stress physiology of crop cultivation. His main research directions are crop salt stress physiology and innovation and the application of efficient and safe crop production technology. He has published more than 150 research papers in mainstream domestic and foreign journals such as the International Journal of Molecular Sciences and Frontiers in Plant Science, Acta Ecology, etc. He has won the "Canadian Agriculture and Agri-Food Research Contribution Award" and other international awards.
