Primary care physician in Medical Genetics at the Regional Center for Medical Genetics Timiș, with extensive clinical and research experience in molecular and cytogenetic diagnostics. PhD supervisor and academic mentor, actively involved in the training of medical students, residents, and doctoral candidates. My professional and research activity focuses on the application of next-generation sequencing (NGS) and other advanced genomic technologies in the diagnosis of rare genetic diseases, reproductive genetics, and pharmacogenomics. Author and co-author of numerous ISI-indexed publications, monographs, and medical textbooks, contributing significantly to the advancement of genetic diagnostics and precision medicine in Romania. Member of national and international professional societies, including the European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG), with active participation in interdisciplinary and translational research projects aimed at improving patient outcomes through genomic innovation.
