Dr Lucia Burgio is Lead Conservation Scientist at the Victoria and Albert Museum. She is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and chairs the Heritage Science Expert Working Group of the RSC. She specialises in the analysis of pigments and Asian and Indigenous American lacquer.
