Alessandro Scuderi is Assistant Professor at the University of Catania for 2020/21 for the discipline 'Economics of Quality products'. He has published 127 scientific papers in national and international journals as well as participated at the international level in major conferences on agri-food production. He has a PhD in Agricultural Economics and Policy - University of Catania. In 2001, he obtained a Master's degree in "Marketing of Agricultural and Food Products” from University of Parma. He was President of the Consortium for the protection of Red Orange Of Sicily PGI. In his scientific career, he has dealt with issues related to economics and agricultural policy and has specifically specialized in sustainability, production systems, and process and product innovations.
