Prof. Dr. Victoria Arija is a Professor of Preventive Medicine and Public Health at the Rovira i Virgili University (URV), Tarragona. She obtained her Doctorado en Medicina y Cirugía in 1988, and her Máster Nutrición y Ciencias de los Alimentos in 1990 at the Universitat de Barcelona. She co-directs the Nutrition and Mental Health research group (NUTRISAM). She is the PI of the ECLIPSES project, which evaluates the effect of health status during pregnancy (nutritional, psychological, and environmental) on the health of children at different times (fetus, newborn birth, and infancy to four years).
