Giovanni Vozzi graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa and received his PhD in Bioengineering at Politecnico of Milan. He is a full professor in Bioengineering at the University of Pisa. His research interests are: development of Biofabrication systems and of bioreactors; mechanical, chemical and cell characterization of new biomaterials; development of in silico cell models. He is a founding member and member of the Directors Board of International Society of Biofabrication. He has published more than 150 refereed papers in international journals, 13 books chapters, and he has developed 24 patents.
