Graduated in Pharmacy from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1994), Master's degree in Biological Sciences (Pharmacology) from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (1997), and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2007). Currently Associate Professor III at the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Federal University of Pará, accredited to the Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Sciences, UFPA (master's degree), Postgraduate Program in Pharmaceutical Innovation (doctorate), and coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Assistance Pharmaceuticals (Masters-Professional). She also participates, as a tutor, in the PET-Farmácia group, UFPA . As a researcher, she has been developing work in the areas of natural products, the search for new drugs for neglected diseases and Pharmaceutical Assistance. Participates in the Board of Directors of the National School of Pharmacists.
