Phaedon Kyriakidis is a professor at the Department of Civil Engineering and Geomatics (DCEG) of the Cyprus University of Technology (CUT) and a former professor at the University of California Santa Barbara (USA) and the University of the Aegean (Greece). He obtained his BSc from the Department of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and his PhD from the Department of Geological and Environmental Sciences of Stanford University, USA, specializing in Geostatistics in the Earth Sciences. At CUT he has served as the Dean of the School of Engineering and Technology and as a Chair of the DCEG.
