Sara Spinelli is a researcher at the University of Florence (Italy) and is qualified as an Associate Professor in Food Science and Technology. Her main research interests include the role of emotions, personality traits and sensitivity to tastes in food preferences. In 2019 she was awarded with the Food Quality and Preference Award—Contributions from a researcher of the future. Since 2011 she has collaborated with the Italian Sensory Science Society and European Sensory Science Society.
