Rocco Roma obtained a bachelor's degree from Università degli Studi di Bari. From January 1, 2005 to the present, Rocco Roma has been a full researcher at the Aldo Moro Department of Agricultural and Environmental Science at Università degli Studi di Bari. From July 3, 2017 to the present, he holds the position of Associate Professor. Rocco Roma's research fields mainly include Food (in)security, environmental and climate change in agriculture, and agricultural sustainability, etc.
