Profesor Dr. Faridah Abas is a faculty member at the Faculty of Food Science and Technology, Universiti Putra Malaysia. Prof Faridah graduated from Universiti Putra Malaysia with a BSc. Edu. (Hons) (1999) and a Ph.D. in Phytochemistry (2005). Her field of expertise includes Bioactive compounds, Natural Product Chemistry, Metabolomics, LCMS, and Functional Food.
