Giuseppe E. De Benedetto is Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry in the Department of Cultural Heritage at the University of Salento (Lecce–Italy). He is the scientific coordinator of the analytical and isotopic mass spectrometry laboratory, which provides access to various facilities for the analytical characterisation of materials. His current main interests are relevant to archaeological analytical chemistry, development of separation methods, and analytical characterisation of micro/nanoplastics in environmental matrices.
