Prof. Dr. Dongfang Ma is a Doctoral Supervisor at Yangtze University and a Visiting Scholar at the National Taiwan University, China. He served as a member of the Disease Resistance Breeding Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Pathology, a member of the Plant Disease and Insect Resistance Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Protection, a member of the 8th Youth Committee of the Chinese Society of Plant Protection, and a director of the Hubei Plant Pathology Society. He also served as a reviewer for more than 20 journals. He mainly conducts research in the following three directions: 1. Research on plant disease resistance mechanisms and pathogenic mechanisms of pathogens. 2. Research on biological monitoring and prevention of alien biological invasions. 3. Biodiversity research.
