Dr. Carlos Lago-Fuentes is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Health Sciences, Universidad Europea del Atlántico. He holds a Ph.D. in Sports Science, Physical Education, and Healthy Physical Activity, as well as a Master's degree in Research in Physical Activity and Sport Sciences, both from the University of Vigo. He has professional experience as a physical trainer and advisor for professional women's indoor soccer teams at a national level. His main areas of research include physical exercise and health, performance in team sports, injury epidemiology, and injury prevention.
