SUM – graduate of the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, specialist in forensic medicine, specialist in pathomorphology, research and teaching professor at the Department of Forensic Medicine and Forensic Toxicology of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Katowice, Chairman of the Silesian Branch of the Polish Society of Forensic Medicine and Criminology and Deputy Chairman of the Silesian Branch of the Polish Society of Toxicology, graduate of postgraduate studies in molecular biology, forensic biology, forensic anthropology as well as medical law and bioethics, member of, among others, TIAFT, ISFG, ISFRI, EAFE, European Society of Pathology and The Society for Cardiovascular Pathology, areas of interest: toxicology, poisoning with new psychoactive substances, providing forensic medical opinions in cases of the so-called medical errors, cardiovascular pathology, forensic histopathology.
