Prof. Dr. Xianping Fu

Xianping Fu received B.E. and M.E. degrees from Qiqihar Light Industry University in 1994 and 1997, respectively, and a Ph.D. degree from Dalian Maritime University in 2005. He was a post-doctoral researcher with Tsinghua University in 2008 and Harvard University in 2009. Currently, he is the dean of the School of Information Science and Technology, Dalian Maritime University. His major research interests are image processing, multimedia technology, video processing, storage management systems, image processing, and traffic environment perception.
