Prof. Dr. Zhitao Zhang was born in Shanxi, China, in 1976. He received a Ph.D. degree in hydrology and water resources from Northwest A&F University, Xianyang, China, in 2011. He was a Visiting Scholar at the United States Department of Agriculture Agricultural Research and Services, Washington, DC, USA, in 2012. Since 2022, he has been a Professor and the Department Leader of the Smart Water Resources Department, at Northwest A&F University. Prof. Dr. Zhitao Zhang’s research interests include remote sensing and its applications in hydrology and water resources management, agricultural soil and water engineering.
