Prof. Nicoletta Bianchi is Associate Professor of Biochemistry and Reader of Biochemistry at the School of Medicine, Department of Translational Medicine, University of Ferrara, Italy. Degree in Biology (on July 14, 1992) and PhD in Biotechnology (on July 14, 1998). She is a member of the Signal Transduction Society (Germany) and a member of the Italian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. Her research activity is focused on the study of i) research of non-coding RNA molecules as biomarkers for biological processes, development of pathology, and response/resistance to therapies; ii) extensive experience in the field of transcriptional regulation of transglutaminase type 2 and its inhibition.
