In this paper, a new memristor-based multi-scroll hyper-chaotic system is designed. The proposed memristor-based system possesses multiple complex dynamic behaviors compared with other chaotic systems. Various coexisting attractors and hidden coexisting attractors are observed in this system, which means extreme multistability arises. Besides, by adjusting parameters of the system, this chaotic system can perform single-scroll attractors, double-scroll attractors, and four-scroll attractors. Basic dynamic characteristics of the system are investigated, including equilibrium points and stability, bifurcation diagrams, Lyapunov exponents, and so on. In addition, the presented system is also realized by an analog circuit to confirm the correction of the numerical simulations.

In this paper, a new memristor-based chaotic system is designed, analyzed, and implemented. Multistability, multiple attractors, and complex riddled basins are observed from the system, which are investigated along with other dynamical behaviors such as equilibrium points and their stabilities, symmetrical bifurcation diagrams, and sustained chaotic states. With different sets of system parameters, the system can also generate various multi-scroll attractors. Finally, the system is realized by experimental circuits.

In this paper, we, respectively, introduce memristor, meminductor, and memcapacitor models. By employing these models, a simple chaotic circuit is designed, which only contains three memory devices in parallel: a memristor, a memcapacitor, and a meminductor. Complex dynamic behaviors are observed and investigated, including variable-boostable feature, chaos bursting phenomenon, phase diagram offsets, coexisting attractors, and transient and local sustained chaotic states. Furthermore, the presented chaotic system is realized by an experimental circuit, and abundant dynamic characteristics are confirmed by hardware experiments, which can be applied in engineering fields.

We design a new chaotic oscillator based on the realistic model of the HP TiO2 memristor and Chua's circuit. Some basic dynamical behaviors of the oscillator, including equilibrium set, Lyapunov exponent spectrum and bifurcations with respect to various circuit parameters, are investigated theoretically and numerically. Chaotic attractors generated by the proposed oscillator are described with simulations and experiments, showing a good agreement. The main finding by analysis is that the proposed oscillator has no transient chaos and weak hyper-chaos appears. Furthermore, its stability is insensitive to its initial values, thereby generating continuous and stable chaotic oscillation signals for chaos-based applications.
