Fabio Baselice was born in Castellammare di Stabia, Italy, in 1982. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees (summa cum laude) in telecommunication engineering and the Ph.D. degree in information engineering from the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope, in 2004, 2007, and 2010, respectively. From 2007, he was a Visiting Student at the Département TSI of Télécom ParisTech, Paris, France, where he focused on SAR data. In 2010, he was a Visiting Scientist at the Vision Lab, Department of Physics, University of Antwerp, Belgium, where he focused on MRI data. From 2011 to 2012, he worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher with the Consorzio Nazionale Interuniversitario per le Telecomunicazioni (CNIT).
Currently, he works as an Associate Professor with the Department of Engineering, Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope. He is also a member of the Research Unit of Magnetoencephalography for Biomedical Applications (MEG-BioApp), ISASI-CNR. His main research interests include statistical signal and image processing applied to biomedical imaging systems.
