Professor at the University of Granada for 23 years, she has focused her research on healthy habits in university students and, as a midwife, she has extended this research to comprehensive birth care and sexual health, taking into account the cultural aspects that influence them. She has written almost twenty scientific articles, several teaching innovation projects and has been principal investigator of several research projects, one of them with international projection.
