Krzysztof Giannopoulos is the Head of the Department of Experimental Hematooncology of the Medical University of Lublin and the Vice-Rector of the Doctoral School and Clinical Research of the Medical University of Lublin. He is an expert in the field of clinical and experimental hematology. His research interests include molecular biology and the characterization of immunological processes in the course of proliferative hematological diseases. His scientific achievements have been recognized with numerous awards, including from the Prime Minister, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Minister of Health, and the International Society of Hematologists. He is also a member of the Scientific Advisory Board of the European Society of Hematology.
