Christian GERMAIN is Professor of Computer Science at Bordeaux Sciences Agro, an engineering school in agronomy. He teaches information technologies and their application to agriculture and the environment. He is a researcher in image processing at the IMS laboratory, with various applications in remote sensing and on-board agricultural imagery. Author of more than 200 scientific articles and communications, he participates in numerous collaborative projects with companies of all sizes, at regional, national or European level. Christian Germain is co-holder of the “AgroTIC” chair, which brings together 29 corporate sponsors and aims to promote the use of digital tools for agriculture.
