Dr. Qiang Chen received B.S. degrees in geography and GIS in surveying and mapping from the China University of Mining Technology in 2009 and a Ph.D. in geography and GIS from Beijing Normal University in 2017. From 2017 to the present, he has worked at the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture (BUCEA) as an assistant professor. He is the author of one book and more than 10 articles. His research interests include urban remote sensing, urban heat islands, and object-based change detection.
