Dr. Ana-Maria Drăgulinescu received her B.Eng. in Telecommunication Systems and Technologies (2014) and her M.Eng. in Multimedia Technologies in Content Production for Audiovisual Domain and Communications (2016) from the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, University Politehnica of Bucharest (UPB). She received a Ph.D. degree after defending her thesis focused on developing and enhancing sensors and IoT systems based on LPWAN technologies and Internet of Unmanned Vehicles (2022). During her Ph.D. studies, she won several awards: Special Prize Eliza Leonida Zamfirescu, UPB-Honeywell Techallenge 2019 contest; Best Challenge Implementation, “IoT meets AI” 2019 hackathon, awarded by TU Munich, Siemens, IMT Atlantique et al.
Between 2017 and 2022, she was a Research and Teaching Assistant with the Telecommunications Department, Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, UPB. She is currently a Lecturer in the same department. She has been involved in 15 national and international projects and published more than 35 papers (8 Q1/Q2 journal articles) and one national patent. Her main research interests are automation, sensor systems and wireless sensors networks, Internet of Things, and LPWAN communication technologies.
