Manuela Ciocoiu is a Vice-Rector of “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, University Studies - basic education study cycle, a Professor Habilitat and Coordinator of the teaching activity at the Pathophysiology Department, Faculty of Medicine, “Grigore T. Popa” University of Medicine and Pharmacy of Iasi, Romania. She is also Vice-President of the Romanian Society of Pathophysiology. She is a member of the National Society of Cell Biology, the Society of Doctors and Naturalists from Iasi, International Society on Thrombosis and Haemostasis. She is the author and co-author of numerous chapters in treatises and monographs and articles cited in international databases. Her research interests are cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and nutritional diseases, oxidative stress, and antioxidant therapy.
