Prof. Xingxu Zhang is a professor at Lanzhou University and has been since 2020. Before 2020, he worked as an assistant professor for six years and a lecturer for two years at this university. He completed
his PhD studies majoring in Grassland Science in Pastoral Plant Pathology at Lanzhou University from 2008 to 2012. In addition, he serves as a reviewer of the Regional and Youth Fund Network of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and is a member of the Gansu Plant Protection Society. He was the editor of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, Fungal Ecology, Journal of Plant Ecology and so on. He has led and participated in many scientific research projects, such as research on the
Activity of Secondary Metabolites of Endophytic Fungi Symbiota in Drunken Horse Grass, National Natural Science Foundation Youth Project and Special Fund for Basic Research Business Expenses of Central Universities General Project “Research on Main Secondary Metabolites and Biological Activities of Drunken Horse Grass”. His main research fields are plant diseases and their control in grassland, seed pathology and seed health evaluation, the screening of elite varieties of forage legumes under alpine grassland and so on.
