Prof. Dr. Ren-Jei Chung is a Distinguished Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology at the National Taipei University of Technology (Taipei Tech), and also serves as the Director of the Advanced Materials Research Center, and the Vice Director of the High-value Biomaterials Research and Commercialization Center. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). He received his Ph.D. degree from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, Taiwan. He has research interests in biomaterials, biomedical applications of nanotechnology, tissue engineering, and biosensors.
