Ms. Mandeep Kaur

Mandeep Kaur received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from University of Cassino, Italy. She is currently a PhD student in Engineering Science at Simon Fraser University, and is working on the design of a sub-millimeter sized catheter in collaboration with the Oncology Department of the BC Cancer Research Centre. Her research interest is in the fabrication of medical devices for the early detection of cancer. She received the Robar Industries Ltd Graduate School award, the Century 21 Charlwood Family award, and a MITACS Research Training Award.
