Prof. Massimo Del Fabbro is a Full Professor at the Department of Biomedical, Surgical, and Dental Sciences, University of Milan, Italy. He received an MSc in Biology in 1989 and a PhD in Human Physiology in 1994 from the University of Milan. He was the Director of the Research Centre of Oral Health from 2011 to 2016 and the Director of the PhD program in Oral Sciences at the University of Milan from 2015 until 2020. He is currently the Director of the PhD in Clinical Research at the University of Milan. From 2002 to 2022, he worked as Head of the Section of Oral Pathophysiology at the IRCCS Galeazzi Orthopaedic Institute in Milan. In 2022, he moved to the Fondazione IRCCS Ca' Granda Ospedale Maggiore Policlinico. His research fields are periodontology, implant dentistry, endodontics, endodontic surgery, biomaterials, tissue engineering, platelet concentrates, salivomics, and oral–systemic disease interactions.
