Prof. Ruggero Bettini is a Full Professor of Pharmaceutical Technology at the Department of Food and Drug Sciences, University of Parma. He is also a Member of the Board of Directors of the University of Parma, the Founder of PumeStars Srl, and the Founder of Anemos Therapeutics Srl. He received an MS in Pharmacy from the University of Parma, Italy in 1991 and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Technology from the University of Pavia in 1994. He was awarded the AAPS Fellow in 2016 and AIMBE Fellow in 2019. His research mainly focuses on solid dosage forms for controlled and site-specific drug delivery and solid-state chemistry for improving biopharmaceutical properties of active pharmaceutical ingredients.
