Rastislav Kotulič is an associate professor at the Faculty of Management and Business at the University of Presov (Slovak Republic). He was appointed an associate professor in the field of study "Management" at the Faculty of Management of University of Presov, the Slovak Republic, in 2008. He gained his PhD degree in the field of study "Branch and Cross-Section Economics" at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, the Slovak Republic, in 2002. At present, his scientific and research activity is directed to the field of managerial economics, regional development, and the field of organization of the economic sphere in the process of economic principle making. In the narrow sense, his research is focused on production and financial/economic analysis of the group of entities working on the soil and suggestions of measures that would improve the future financial and management processes in these enterprises; it is also focused on identification of the factors of prosperity and productivity of the enterprises in general in ensuring effective management of enterprises; and finally, it is also focused on the issue of sustainable development of the regions from a production and environmental point of view. Currently, he is head of the Department of Economic Sciences and Economy at the Faculty of Management and Business.
