Dr. Habil. Agnieszka Kuchta has been employed (Assistant Professor) in the Department of Clinical Chemistry, Medical University of Gdańsk since 2010. The area of interest and research is qualitative and quantitative assessment of lipoproteins with a particular emphasis on lipoprotein (a) and the cardiovascular risk associated with it, and evaluation of oxidative stress markers and antioxidant defense, with a particular emphasis on the pathomechanisms leading to oxidative modification of plasma lipoproteins. A pharmacist by profession. Member of the Polish Society of Laboratory Diagnostics.
