Prof. Vlado Lazarov is a Professor at the University of York. He received his BSs from St Cyril and Methodius, Macedonia, and his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. He serves as Director of the Nanocentre, University of York. His research interests include half-metals for spintronic applications, polar oxides for electronic applications and catalysis, 3D topological insulators, and advanced electron microscopy methods for atomic-level material characterization.
