Wooseong Kim received a Ph.D. degree in computer science from UCLA. He used to work as a researcher with Samsung Electronics, Hyundai Motor, LG Electronics, and SK Hynix Semiconductor. He is currently an associate professor with the Computer Engineering Department at Gachon University, South Korea. He had standardization activity in several SDOs like 3GPP, TTA, and ETSI. His research interests include blockchain, P2P networks, multihop ad hoc networks, 5G telecommunication systems, SDN/NFV, and the IoT.
