Post-doc at ISPA, Portugal (Fish Behavioral Endocrinology). Current position: Associate Professor in Animal Behavior at UNESP, and member of the Aquaculture Center of UNESP. Coordinator of the Committee on Ethics in Using Animals (UNESP). Associate Editor in Ethology of the Journal of Neotropical Ichthyology. Research interests include the association between social interactions, social stress, cognition, and welfare in fish, especially in cichlids.
