Prof. Fiona M Doohan is an associate professor at the School of Biology and Environmental Science, College of Life Sciences, University College Dublin, Ireland. She received her B.Sc. (HONS) in industrial microbiology at the same university in 1994 and obtained her Ph.D. in molecular plant pathology at the John Innes Centre, Open University, UK, in 1997. Her research interests include plant biotechnology, plant biology, mycotoxins, biotechnology, plant tissue culture, cereal, gene expression, wheat and fungi.
