Biography
Wenping Gong received his Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Wuhan University (2010). In 2015, he received his PhD in Microbiology from the Academy of Military Medical Sciences. He worked as Director of the Institute for Tuberculosis Research, Senior Department of Tuberculosis, Chinese PLA General Hospital (2026.04- present). His research topics mainly include tuberculosis prevention and control, vaccine development, and innovative diagnostic methods for infectious diseases.
