Jun Ho Kim is an associate professor in the Department of Food Science and Biotechnology at Andong National University, South Korea (2018-present). He was trained in the field of functional food research, and obtained a PhD in food and biotechnology (2010) from Korea University, South Korea. Subsequently, he completed his postdoctoral training in physical activity and obesity in the Department of Food Science at University of Massachusetts, USA (2010-2011) and in estrogen metabolism and postmenopausal disease in the Department of Medicine at Northwestern University, USA (2012-2013). He is currently researching the effects of natural substances on diabetes, postmenopausal metabolic symptoms (phytoestrogens), and liver disease.
