Alfonso Micucci received his degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Transport from the University of Bologna in 1993. Since then, he has been a research fellow and Assistant Professor at the University of Bologna. His research topics mainly include road accident analysis, road safety, sustainable mobility, data analysis, and traffic simulation.
