João S. Resende is a postdoctoral researcher in cybersecurity. Currently, he is working on the project CyberSec4europe. CybersSec4europe is one of the four pilots focusing on the creation of a Network of Cybersecurity Competence and a new European Cybersecurity Competence Centre in Romania to improve cybersecurity capacity. He has a Ph.D. in Computer Science in a collaborative effort between three Portuguese Universities, Minho, Aveiro, and Porto, under the principal supervision of Luís Antunes and Rolando Martins, where he is focused on underlying cybersecurity problems of today's critical systems of Portugal.
