Dr. Robert Osei-Kyei

Dr. Robert Osei-Kyei joined Western Sydney University as a Lecturer in Project Management in May 2018. He is a member of the Centre for Smart Modern Construction. Dr. Osei-Kyei obtained his PhD in Construction Project Management, specializing in Public–Private Partnerships, from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2017. He has published many of his research findings in top-tier journals in the built environment; these include the International Journal of Project Management (IJPM), Project Management Journal, ASCE's Journal of Management in Engineering, Cities, etc. Robert has been involved in research projects funded by the Hong Kong Research Grants Council and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). Some key outcomes of Robert's research have been incorporated into the Government of Ghana guidelines for PPP practice, World Bank PPP guidelines for developing countries, and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors' Practice Note. Dr. Osei-Kyei is currently an Associate Editor for the International Journal of Construction Management (a CIB encouraged journal, indexed in ESCI (Clarivate Analytics)). Robert is also an Editorial Board Member for the Infrastructures Journal (published by MDPI).
