Moonil Kim received his Ph.D. degree (2003) in molecular biology from Korea University, Korea, and was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Kim was a research associate professor at the College of Veterinary Medicine of Tuskegee University (2010–2012), USA, and an adjunct professor in KAIST (2013–2019), Korea. He is currently a principal investigator at the Critical Diseases Diagnostics Convergence Research Center of KRIBB, Korea. So far, he has published over 70 articles and his current research emphasizes optical and electrical biosensor systems for early diagnostics of cancers and infectious diseases.
