Víctor Alcaraz González received his Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences with an emphasis on Process Control from the University of Perpignan, France, in 2001. Since 2002, he is a Member of the Mexican National Researchers Systems. Currently, he is a Full Professor Researcher Titular C at the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Guadalajara, Mexico. He has more than 120 publications in Indexed Journals and International Conference Proceedings. His current research topics and interests deal with the modeling and control of bioprocesses for wastewater treatment, focusing on obtaining energy and added-value products from wastewater.
