Alun Gu received her Ph.cD. degree from the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University in 2003 and now is the associate professor of the Institute of Energy, Environment and Economy. She is engaged in research on energy optimization and system analysis, climate change policy and international trade, carbon cost pass-through impact analysis, carbon market mechanisms and renewable energy policy alignment, and local low-carbon development and planning.
