Anil Shrestha is a Full Professor in Weed Science at the Department of Plant Science, California State University. He holds a B.Sc. from Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology (ANDUaT), an M.S. from Cornell University, and a Ph.D. from Michigan State University. Before his current role, he was a Research Associate at the Department of Plant Agriculture, University of Guelph. He teaches courses such as Weed Science, Pesticides, Aspects of Crop Productivity, and Biometrics, which help students prepare themselves to work in a profession that feeds the world.  He has also taken his teaching and research findings to the agricultural community in California and students and faculty in places as far away as Nepal.
