Prof. Diego La Mendola received a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from the University of Catania, Catania, Italy. Prof. La Mendola is a full-time researcher at Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR), National Council of Research at CNR-Institute of Biostructure and Bioimages, Catania (Italy). Currently, Prof. La Mendola is an Associate Professor of General and Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Pharmacy, University of Pisa. Prof. La Mendola has worked on the “short-term mobility” program of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche, and the “short-term mobility” program of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche. Prof. La Mendola is a member of PhD board in Drug Science and Bioactive Substances. Prof. La Mendola does research in coordination chemistry and metal complexes, bioinorganic chemistry, spectroscopy, prion diseases, peptides, and proteins.
