Prof. Carlotta Granchi received her PhD in Medicinal Chemistry in 2011 at the University of Pisa (IT). In 2009, she spent a period in the group of Prof. P.J. Hergenrother in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (USA). After the PhD, she was a postdoctoral research fellow, and in 2016, she joined the Department of Pharmacy of the University of Pisa as an Assistant Professor, becoming an Associate Professor in 2019. Her research interests are focused on the synthesis and biological evaluation of small molecules able to interfere with the altered metabolism of tumours.
