Prof. Dr. Shuai Deng is a Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering of Tianjin University. He received his Master’s Degree from the Guangzhou Institute of Energy Conversion, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2008 and his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2014. His research interests are thermodynamics and heat and mass transfer. He concentrates on applying these fundamental investigations to the separation of mixtured gas, particularly, heat-driven separation, e.g., separation technologies for CO2 capture, power/refrigeration system using zeotropic mixtures, and multi-function energy system using mixtured working fluids.
